Ginrin Matsukawabaki
Matsukawabake is originated from the crossbreeding of Kumonryu and Shiro Utsuri.
Ginrin Matsukawabake is a ginrin version of Matsukawabake. Unlike its non-ginrin counterpart, Ginrin Matsukawabake is characterized by its shimmering scales, which are arranged in a dazzling white and black combination. The unique feature of this koi variety is its ever-changing sumi, which has no set pattern and is referred to as Henka Sumi by Japanese breeders. The sumi may appear scattered across the body, or it may take on a reticulated netting pattern on the white ground. Whether the change is drastic or subtle, Ginrin Matsukawabake is a captivating addition to any koi pond.
